Mineral Makeup Lovers Rejoice!! A fellow Mineral Makeup Lover has created a solution to the #1 complaint about minerals! The complaint? It’s TOO MESSY (especially when traveling). The solution? The Mineral Saver, which is an insert for your jars. It is made of foam with a plastic shield on the bottom.

Recently I was contacted by Christine Richardson about her new invention. Christine is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel. While she was active duty she loved her minerals but hated traveling with them. She came up with a solution and is now offering it for all mineral lovers to enjoy.

Christine asked if she could send a sample of her product for me to review. When the package arrived I opened it and it contained a jar of Bare Minerals Foundation. I was kinda surprised… But when I opened the jar, there was a Mineral Saver inside and much to my amazement, there was not one speck of foundation above the sifter! Can you imagine if you sent a jar without the saver how much foundation would be above the sifter? So I decided to have a little fun. I closed the jar and shook it over and over, still no foundation above the sifter. I played toss with it with my husband – nope no spills. I was blown away. I need these!

I also realized that in addition to being incredible when you travel, these will also allow minerals to be carried in your purse to be used for touch ups without all of the fancy containers or brushes. Just pop in a mineral saver and you are good to go.

These are available in 7 different sizes for all different brands. I was also very impressed by the pricing – they are sold by a 4-pack and the price varies based on the size, but the biggest, most expensive ones are less than $2 each. These will save much more makeup than that.
