New Bare Escentuals Oil Control Foundation Primer

For those of us with oiler and/or acne prone skin, Bare Escentuals has a new Oil Control Primer. The official name is Bare Escentuals Prime Time Oil Control and it is an oil-free, water based primer.
Here is the scoop from Bare Escentuals: “developed for oily, sensitive, or problem-prone skin to instantly smooth the complexion prior to bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation. The oil, fragrance, and silicone–free formula is clinically proven to control shine throughout the day, as well as to regulate oil and refine pores with minerals and natural plant extracts. The lightweight primer glides on seamlessly—leaving the skin matte, refreshed, and ready for foundation.”
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Modified Corn Starch, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Zinc PCA, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Silica, Calcium Silicate, Sclerotium Gum, Citric Acid.
It is currently a Sephora exclusive, where it is getting mixed, but mostly positive reviews. I am looking forward to trying it out, but my initial feeling is that anyone who has worn and can wear a primer with silicone will be disappointed in this one. This formula is for those of us who cannot use the silicone based primers because of breakouts or very oily skin. If you have normal to dry skin or can use the other primers with silicone, stick with them. Otherwise you may want to try this out – it is probably better than nothing if you want ot use a primer.

I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS PRODUCT. I AM A LONG TIME BARE MINERALS GIRL.
THIS PRODUCT WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP MY VERY OILY NOSE AREA. IT ABSOLUTELY DID NOT WORK AT ALL. I AM CRUSHED. LESLIE BLODGETT WENT ON AND ON WITH ASSURANCES OF AN END TO OILY SKIN.
THE ONLY THING THAT EVER HELPED ME – YEARS AGO WAS AN ELIZABETH ARDEN OIL CONTROL LOTION………………
I AM RETURNING THE PRODUCT TO QVC AND WOULD LOVE VERY MUCH TO HEAR FROM BARE MINERALS/ESCENTUALS ABOUT IT……………………
