Sheer Cover Makeup is one of the best known Mineral Makeups on the market. It is sold via a Guthy Renker Infomercial only, it is not available in stores or online except from the infomercial site. Leeza Gibbons has served as the Sheer Cover spokesperson for many years.

Both brands have users that originally used the other brand. It is strictly a personal preference. Both are very high quality mineral makeups from reputable companies. Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup is now being sold on ShopNBC. The line debuted there recently and they currently have a very nice selection of products available.
Sheer Cover was originally sold on HSN, but they have been gone from there for several years. I assume Sheer Cover is replacing PurMinerals, which was sold on ShopNBC in the past.

It appears that Sheer Cover may have slightly modified their mineral makeup formulation and that is now may contain Bismuth. The old list of ingredients was:
